Certificate of Recognition

Safety is an integral part of any geophysical program. The CAGC strongly encourages all its members to participate in the Alberta Workplace Health and Safety Partnerships. CAGC members holding a Certificate of Recognition (COR) have implemented a health and safety management system that is proven through an external audit and is recognized by both government and industry.

Partnerships in Health and Safety promotes health and safety through partnerships with safety associations, industry groups, educational institutions and labour organizations. A Certificate of Recognition (COR) is given to employers who develop health and safety management systems that meet established standards. Certificates are issued by Certifying Partners and are co-signed by AEII. Achieving and maintaining a valid COR is required to earn a financial incentive through the WCB's Partners in Injury Reduction program.

For more information on the COR program please visit Alberta Workplace Health and Safety or Energy Safety Canada COR Information and Forms. To access a complete list of employers with a COR please click here. You will need Abode Acrobat to view this file.
